Hello all, I am raising funds for my mom. She is currently dying due to a medical issue. The money I was going to use for her cremation and funeral went to place her in a nursing home until she passes. I know a lot of people would think someone would have life insurance in place. My mom did not work; instead, she helped me take care of my kids. She didn't have the funds for a life insurance policy, and because she is my mom, she could not be on my insurance at work. The reason I am asking for $6000 is to cover the expenses of the nursing home, which was going to be used for her cremation and memorial.

Mom was a person who loved me, her grandkids, and her great grandbaby. She was a unique person. When she was with us mentally, she is now confined to a bed and not expected to be around much longer. She loved the animals like they were her grandkids and was willing to help take care of anyone and anything. She loved walking with the great grandbaby and watching her grow up. She was an integral part of our lives. She was there for me when not many others were.

Her favorite place was the ocean. The picture attached was the last trip we took to Galveston because she wanted to see the great grandbaby in the ocean. We knew she was already going downhill then.

She always tried to show her love in small ways, at Christmas and on birthdays to the kids. We don't know what it will be like without her this year.
