On July 22nd, our lives changed in an instant.

Christopher was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that nearly took his life. We are beyond grateful that he survived — but the road ahead is long and uncertain.

Since the accident, Christopher has been in the ICU, recovering from multiple traumatic injuries:

A broken pelvis

Several broken ribs

A fractured knee

A fractured foot

And most seriously, a broken neck (internal decapitation) — a life-threatening injury that required a very risky surgery to stabilize his spine and prevent further damage to his spinal cord.

The surgeons had to fuse Christopher’s skull to his spine in order to save his life. As a result, his neck will have very limited range of motion, and we still don’t know what his long-term physical abilities will be. Doctors say only time will tell how much mobility and independence he’ll regain.

Christopher worked hard before the accident to help support our little family. Now, with him unable to work and facing a long recovery, we are struggling to keep up with basic living expenses. We are humbly asking for any support — financial or otherwise — to help us stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time.
