We are reaching out to you during a challenging time for our family. My brother-in-law, Christopher, has recently been diagnosed with aggressive stage 3 multiple myeloma, a type of cancer that affects the plasma cells in the bone marrow. These cells are crucial for producing antibodies that help fight infections. When these plasma cells become cancerous, they multiply uncontrollably. The cancerous cells begin to attack the bones and organs-leading to weakened bones, kidney damage, and a compromised immune system.

Christopher's diagnosis has not only brought emotional turmoil but has also significantly impacted his ability to work and provide for his family. As he undergoes treatment including multiple surgeries, a rigorous medication plan, chemotherapy and possibly a stem cell transplant, he faces numerous challenges that will require both time and energy to navigate. The harsh reality is that Christopher will be unable to maintain his job during this critical period, placing a considerable financial strain on his family.

My sister, who works full-time, is doing her best to support their three children, including an infant. However, the mounting medical bills, along with everyday expenses, are overwhelming. We are asking for your support to help ease their burden during this difficult journey.
