Our sister and daughter, Christi (Christina Bernal Adams), has bravely been fighting cancer for more than three years—and she is still fighting. Recently, the disease has progressed, and two days ago, she was placed on hospice care. Despite the pain and uncertainty, Christi remains positive and continues to find the best in every situation. As the oldest of five siblings, she has been the backbone of our family and has always carried her responsibilities with pride.

Christi works in the healthcare industry, caring for others in assisted living. She is known for her selflessness, generosity, and unwavering compassion. Even as she faces her own challenges, she continues to think of others first. Over the past months, her ability to work has significantly reduced, and she is currently unable to return to work. The funds raised will help cover medical bills that insurance may not cover, as well as household bills that have become difficult to manage. Our hope is to ease some of the financial stress so Christi can focus on her health and spend time with loved ones.

As one of her siblings, I will be handling the donations and ensuring all funds are used for Christi’s medical and household expenses. I am committed to supporting her and making sure every contribution goes directly toward her care and comfort.
