BIG UPDATE!!!! As of today, December 15, 2023, the needs of our friend, Christina, her daughter Maegan and her daughter’s boyfriend, Austin, have been met!
I received word earlier that Austin’s medical bills are 100% covered, so their need while they transition during this incredibly difficult and stressful time has been met!
I will officially be closing this GoFundMe at Christina’s request.

Our long time friend and classmate, Christina lost her entire house this afternoon to a tornado.
On her way home from work, she caught the tornado on her phone from the highway, hoping and praying it would pass her house. As she pulled up to her street, she could see the house was completely gone.
Her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend were home at the time and had almost no time to go for cover. Thankfully, her daughter, Maegan came out with minor injuries, but her boyfriend, Austin sustained severe injuries and taken to Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Christina and her family have lost everything. Their puppy, Duncan has not been found yet and we are praying that he is okay, even though it seems impossible.
Laurie, Heather and I have loved Christina since we became friends in middle school and want to start this GoFundMe now, so they can get through this day and the days ahead, and begin to rebuild.
