Christy’s world turned upside down when her 12-year-old son Micah was admitted to the pediatric oncology floor in Greenville, SC. Just days ago, doctors discovered a large tumor on Micah’s back, and he was immediately hospitalized. Since then, Micah has undergone multiple biopsies, including a deep tissue biopsy and a bone marrow test, as doctors work to determine the best course of treatment.

Micah is your average 12-year-old boy who loves video games, animals—especially his boxer in Florida—and being an uncle to his one-year-old nephew. He’s smart, kind, and always brings a smile to those around him. Christy, his devoted mom, flew out on the first available flight and hasn’t left his side since. She is doing everything she can to support Micah through this frightening and uncertain time.
