If you’ve ever been around the softball community, chances are you know Chris Smith or at least you’ve felt his impact. Chris is the definition of an iconic softball dad: always showing up with energy, encouragement, laughter, and a genuine love for every player on and off the field. He is fun, ambitious, kind, and endlessly giving. He is someone who truly cares for all, not just his own.

Chris and the Smith family are facing an unimaginable challenge. Chris is currently suffering from liver failure and is awaiting guidance from his medical team as they determine the next steps toward a possible liver transplant. While the focus right now is on Chris’s health and healing, the reality is that this journey brings overwhelming emotional and financial hardship for this amazing family. Medical care, time away from work, travel, and ongoing expenses add up quickly.
