My name is James Brandyberry and I am fundraising for one of my best friends of 40 years, Chris Smart. In early May 2021, Chris was diagnosed with high risk stage 3 colon cancer. He had a mass removed. 31 lymph nodes were also removed (10 cancerous). Due to the cancer that was found, he is undergoing chemotherapy for the next 6 months. Also known as ''Tuff'', I am expecting him to show that Tuff side and get through this difficult time in his life. Tuff is an amazing friend, father and husband, but above all, a GOD-fearing man. We will continue to put our faith in GOD through this whole situation.

The reason for the fundraiser is for financial support while he will not be working for at least 6 months. The bills continue to come and new medical bills are adding up as well. For those who are not able to contribute with funds, we appreciate the continued prayers just as much.
