Support for Chris "Biskit" Woodard

Hello, I am Jenna, the eldest daughter of Chris "Biskit" and Jenny Woodard. On Monday, April 10, 2023, my father was the victim of a serious car wreck that left him critically injured.

I have rarely seen my dad not working or helping someone. This was also the case at the time that he was nearly taken from us. Daddy teaches at Hinds Community College, passing along his knowledge and passion for auto mechanics. While trailering a vehicle back to his class for teaching purposes, he was struck while outside of his vehicle by a vehicle that didn't stop. The impact of the hit resulted in my father being thrown into the air and landing in the middle of Hwy 18.

I don't know that we can even put a definite number on his injuries, as we seem to learn of more with each passing day. I will try to list the majority, including but not limited to and not every break of a single bone, as some have multiple:

He was put on a ventilator that night that remained for several days in the SICU. He has received multiple units of blood. Four surgeries in the last week, with many more to go.

With all of these unexpected, life-changing, and unwarranted injuries, he and my mom will be at the hospital for quite some time. This fundraiser is to help alleviate any additional stress due to the cost of gas and food expenses.
