In August 2025, after months of searching for answers and being told Chloe’s leg pain was just growing pains, everything changed. On 25/08/2025, a trip to emergency led to the diagnosis no family is ever prepared for. Chloe was diagnosed with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and treatment began straight away.
Since that day, life has been turned upside down. Over the past seven months, Chloe has faced more than any child should ever have to go through. Her journey hasn’t been simple. She has had multiple infections, repeated surgeries and long hospital stays. Each setback has meant more time in hospital and more strain on her little body. She is now back in hospital fighting an antibiotic-resistant infection.
This has had a huge impact on the whole family. Samantha has had to take unpaid leave to stay by Chloe’s side. Dean has used all of his leave trying to juggle work, hospital and home. And at the centre of it all are Chloe’s sisters, Isla and Mia, who miss their sister deeply and are trying to adjust to a very different normal.
For more than seven months the family has done everything they can to manage this on their own. But with treatment expected to continue for two years, the financial pressure is becoming overwhelming.
We are asking for support to help ease that load. Funds raised will go towards essential household bills, fuel for the constant hospital trips and daily living costs. This support will allow the family to focus on what truly matters. Being there for Chloe and supporting each other through this.
Your support and your willingness to share this page means more than words can say. Thank you for standing with Chloe and her family during this incredibly difficult time.
