My niece, Chloe, was airlifted to Loma Linda University on Tuesday, Dec. 9th, with severe pneumonia. She is now in the intensive care unit, on a ventilator, and our family is facing an incredibly difficult and frightening time as we wait and hope for her recovery. My mom, who is her grandmother, wants to be with Chloe as much as possible, but we don't know how long Chloe will be in the hospital for. Being close to Chloe during this uncertain time means everything to my mom and our family.

However, staying close to the hospital comes with many unexpected expenses. My mom needs help covering the costs of travel, hotel stays, and daily necessities while she remains near her granddaughter in the ICU. These expenses add up quickly, and it’s challenging to manage them on top of the emotional stress our family is experiencing.

We are reaching out to our community for support. Any help that anyone could provide would be very appreciated during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will allow my mom to stay close to Chloe and provide the love and support she needs as she fights to recover. Update 12/13/25

Chloe is showing some improvement today. The doctors have started to feed her threw a feeding tube. Her kidney function is stable. Tomorrow the doctors will try to lower the amount of oxygen on the ventilator. Chloe is still expected to be in the ICU for another week. Our family appreciates everyone's prayers, shares and donations. Please continue to keep Chloe in your prayers as she fights to get well.
