Chloe is the embodiment of strength and compassion. She is the friend who always shows up for others without asking for anything in return. She faces life’s challenges with grace, resilience, and determination. Now she is facing her toughest battle yet: Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive diagnosis that requires a full year of treatment including chemotherapy, mastectomy, and possibly radiation, with continued immunotherapy.
The diagnosis came as a shock. Earlier this year, Chloe discovered a lump completely by chance. With no family history and a healthy lifestyle, cancer felt unlikely. But after a series of tests, biopsies, and long days of waiting, what started as a precaution quickly turned into something far more serious. Her worst fears were confirmed. Her first chemotherapy session began May 6.
Since then, she has faced every step with clarity and strength. But the road ahead is overwhelming. Her doctors have made it clear she will not be able to continue working during treatment. The impact on her immune system and overall health will be too significant. Unfortunately, the disability plan through her job does not even cover the cost of her health insurance, let alone rent, food, or the rising medical bills.
Chloe has done everything she could to prepare. She worked hard to save paid time off, stayed grounded, and tried to hold on to a sense of normalcy. But she is entering the most difficult chapter of her life without the financial support she needs to stay afloat.
This is our moment to show up for her, just as she has always shown up for the people she cares about.
Your support will help cover basic living expenses, medical bills, and transportation to and from treatment. It will also give her the space to focus on healing rather than the stress of falling behind. Just before starting treatment, Chloe made the difficult but important decision to undergo fertility preservation. It reflects her deep hope for a life beyond cancer, and that hope deserves to be protected.
If you know her, you know how fiercely she values her independence. Asking for help is not easy. But no one should have to go through something like this alone.
Please give if you are able. Share if you are moved to. And above all, listen to your body and trust when something feels off. Chloe found her tumor by accident, however, it may have been caught even earlier. Perform your self exams. It could save your life.
Thank you for standing with her.
