Meet our little girl Cheska. She is 1 of the cutest God fearing little angels you will ever meet. Words cant describe how much we love her. She is almost 3 years old and never fails to bring a smile to our faces and the people around her. I know most parents say this, but we couldn't be more blessed to have such an amazing child like her and this is where the sad part comes.

Four days before Christmas of 2016, we learned a shocking truth that our daughter Cheska, was diagnosed with Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH). We were scared and deeply saddened about the findings, her left hip is completely dislocated and at highest risk on the DDH category.
The Pedia Orthopaedic Surgeon says that she may need to undergo several surgeries to reconstruct her left leg, which need to be done as soon as possible in order that a better outcome may be achieved. The plans for the surgeries are as follows: Open reduction, Salter Osteotomy, Varus derotation, shortening of her femur, and 2-3 months on a Hip Spica cast.

We plan to start this journey for our daughter after her 3rd birthday this coming Feb 6, 2017, so she will still have the time to celebrate it without the Spica Cast. We knew that we have to be ready and prepared emotionally, physically and financially in facing this trial in our life. This may be a hard process for us, but we need to be strong for our little girl.
