Cheryl and her husband Shamus have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. On the night of April 24, 2026, tragedy struck when a fire broke out at their home. Cheryl lost her life in the fire, and Shamus was rushed to the hospital with burns and smoke inhalation. Their children are now facing unimaginable loss and uncertainty, and our hearts are broken for them.

We are raising funds to help Cheryl and Shamus’s children with funeral expenses for their beloved mother, as well as to support Shamus with the medical bills and the many challenges he will face as he begins to rebuild his life. The road ahead will be long, but every bit of support will help ease their burden and show them they are not alone.
