Support for Chelsie's Family in Their Time of Loss
It saddens our hearts to say goodbye to Chelsie. Daughter of Larry and JoAnn Schieber, sister to Caleb, mommy to Bowen, partner to Dave, Bowen's daddy, and so so much more to her many other family members and friends alike. Her name and memory will live on through all of her loved ones, which is of the upmost importance so baby Bowen is constantly reminded of her and just how much she absolutely and completely loved him!
Due to the instant and unexpected nature of Chelsie's departure, and given her young age, I'm inviting and encouraging any and all friends, family, members of the communities (Odessa, Mayview, Lexington, Concordia, Higginsville, Sedalia, Warrensburg and all the towns in between or no where near) to rally a few dollars together to help relieve some of the financial burden off of Chelsie's family, during this tragic and difficult time. Life is so short, even when those privileged enough to have 100+ years, no one is promised a tomorrow. Life gets in the way of all of our plans, and finances should be the least of anyone's worry when navigating through the emotions in uncharted territories, such as laying to rest your daughter who was taken from them and everyone who loved her way too soon.
Thank you so much for your considerate and generous donation. We love and appreciate you!
On behalf of Chelsie's parents Larry and JoAnn, as well as her partner, Dave.
-A loving family member
WE LOVE AND MISS YOU CHELSIE!!
*Edited to update: Chelsie's Memorial and Celebration of Life-
We invite you all to join us in honor and remembrance to a celebration of life for Chelsie Wilcox at the Community Building in Mayview, MO, on Saturday, September 28th, from 1-4pm.
Chelsie is a beloved daughter, grandaughter, sister, mommy, spouse, niece, cousin, and friend to so many. Nobody could have prepared themselves for such an unexpected and devastating loss. While the family continues to navigate through this and process the loss of Chelsie, we can all come together to do the next right thing, for Chelsie, her family, and all those who loved her. The void of Chelsie can be, in part, filled by memorializing her name and who she was to each person she loved and who loved her by celebrating the life she did have.
There will be time available for people to express their love and loss for Chelsie, share memories of and with her, and have personal photos you may want to share, included in a video slideshow in honor of Chelsie.
Finger sandwhiches, chips, and dip will be available for snacks and refreshments. Please feel welcome to bring lunch meat, bread, chips, dip, water, tea, cookies, or any other simple finger foods you would like to contribute!
If you have any questions, concerns, or want to contribute in any way, please feel free to comment on this post or send a direct message to either me, Tammy Martinez, Twyla Raines, or Shawn Jackson.
