Chelsia L. Bateman passed away on Saturday, February 21 at 4:00 PM. She was only 17 years old.

Chelsia was a bright, strong, and deeply loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She faced more medical challenges in her short life than most do in a lifetime, yet she continued to show resilience, humor, and compassion. Her courage touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Over the past weeks, Chelsia fought through severe complications related to pneumonia and infection. Despite the tireless efforts of her medical team and the unwavering love of her family, her body could not overcome the illness.

We are now facing the unexpected costs of funeral services, burial expenses, and related arrangements. This is an unimaginable time for our family, and the financial burden adds to the weight of our grief.
