My name is Glen Henry, and Sydney Hale was more than a friend to me—he was a brother. We grew up together, shared life’s milestones, and stayed connected through the years even on opposite sides of the country. It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news of his passing and invite you to come alongside his family during this deeply painful time.

On the evening of Friday, November 21st, 2025, Sydney was rushed to the hospital after a tragic accident at home. While the details remain private out of respect for the family, what unfolded was nothing short of heartbreaking. Sydney had to be resuscitated three times and was ultimately declared brain dead. After days of prayer, testing, and every effort to revive him, Sydney took his final breath on Wednesday, November 26th at 10:58 AM.

Sydney was the primary provider for his family. His passing leaves behind his wife, Charnice, and thier four children, who are now facing not only the weight of grief but the uncertainty of the road ahead.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to help relieve some of the financial stress that comes with such a sudden loss. One immediate need is reliable transportation—something Sydney had been working on before the accident.
