On Friday, August 22nd, 2025, my father, Charles Elmer Williams, was rushed to the hospital where he passed away from respiratory distress. He had been battling with his health, his circulatory system, then his back, and his heart. He was having a pacemaker put in, but his heart couldn't handle it, so he was put in an induced coma. When he came out, he had severe cognitive issues, and it was too much for him to handle.
I am asking for help to get me and other family to my father's house for final preparations, proper respects, and support for Corey (his youngest), who has been pretty much his caretaker for a while now.
Me and my fiancé were working hard, purchased a vehicle, and literally 36 hours before Dad passed, got it street legal. Our #1 goal was to see him before it got too late, although that's not how it worked out.
With my vehicle alone, we can get my dad's only surviving sister, my older brother, and possibly others out to Auburndale, FL, to support and help my little brother with final arrangements and my incredibly far-fetched goal of getting the few remaining family members left together in celebration of his life.
Our goal for help is simply gas and travel money, final arrangements, and us all still paying our bills and not being evicted or losing what we work for to pay respects to my father.
Every prayer and donation will be used to help our family in a time of great loss and heartache.
