Today we lost Charles Eugene Trujillo, born June 13th, 1957. He struggled bravely with stage 3 rectal cancer, living with a stoma bag and gradually losing his ability to walk and swallow. Through it all, I, Carla Gonzalez, his youngest daughter, became his nurse and constant companion, caring for him every day. Charles loved Sacramento, California, where he spent many years, and he cherished time spent lowridering with friends and family.
Despite the challenges, my dad faced his illness with courage and love. Sadly, he lost his fight on March 16th, 2026, passing away peacefully in his sleep. Our family is now facing the difficult task of covering his medical bills and arranging his funeral. Charles had no income or insurance, and the financial burden is overwhelming.
I'm reaching out to our community for any help you can offer. Your support will help us honor my father's memory and give him the farewell he deserves. We are deeply grateful for any contribution, no matter the size. Thank you for being there for us in this time of need.
