My dad, Charles Kammin, recently suffered a heart attack and a blood clot in his heart. Tragically, a piece of the clot broke off and traveled to his brain, causing him to have a stroke. Right now, we’re facing a lot of uncertainty about his recovery, and it’s been an incredibly difficult time for our family.
As his only living child, I’m doing everything I can to support him and make the best decisions for his care. My dad is my whole world—he’s always been there for me, and now I want to be there for him. The medical bills are quickly adding up, and there are many expenses that insurance just won’t cover. On top of that, my dad’s lost income means it’s even harder to keep up with his regular bills and living expenses.
