I wanted to create a GoFundMe to support Chandler’s family during this incredibly difficult and stressful time. As many of you know, unexpected tragedies create a huge emotional and financial burden. Right now, they are doing everything they can to stay by Chandler’s side as he recovers. Chandler suffered very serious injuries, including a broken left femur, a broken right arm, a small pocket of air between his lungs, and a deep gash across the front of his neck. He is incredibly lucky to be here with us. Doctors said that if the neck wound had been even slightly off, he could have bled out at the scene. It’s truly a miracle he survived. Though he has a long road ahead, his family is staying strong and doing everything they can to be by his side. His mom will likely be unable to work for some time, as she stays home to care for him and meet his needs. Between missed work, medical travel, and everyday expenses, the financial pressure can quickly become overwhelming. I’ve started this fundraiser to help ease at least part of that burden, so they can focus on what matters most—Chandler’s healing and recovery. I also want to be fully transparent—100% of the proceeds will go directly to Chandler’s family. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much and truly make a difference.
