Title: Help My Daughter Be There for Her Premature Baby

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for support for my daughter during one of the most difficult times of her life.

My daughter recently gave birth very prematurely at just 6 months and 1 week. Her baby boy, Chance, was born weighing 1 lb 9 oz and is currently in the Children’s Hospital in Oakland, California. Chance is stable for now, but he has a long road ahead in the NICU.

After giving birth, my daughter developed a serious infection and spent a week hospitalized herself, trying to recover while her newborn remained in intensive care. On top of this, she is also caring for her 1½-year-old son, Chosyn.

Although she is co-parenting with the father, my daughter lives alone and is doing this largely on her own. She does not have a car, which makes everything incredibly difficult. She needs reliable transportation so she can:

Get Chosyn safely to daycare

Be at the hospital with Chance as much as possible

Manage daily necessities and appointments

Right now, bills are piling up, and the stress of finances, transportation, and childcare is overwhelming during an already heartbreaking time.

Funds raised will help with:

Purchasing a reliable car

Transportation costs to and from the hospital

Childcare for Chosyn

Rent, utilities, and basic living expenses while Chance remains hospitalized

Any donation, no matter the size, will help lift some of this burden and allow my daughter to focus on what matters most—being there for her children. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much.
