My name is Samantha and I’m a longtime friend of Margaret Bevis. We are asking for donations and support for the passing of Margaret’s daughter, Challis who passed away April 3 2026.
Challis was truly one of a kind. She had a gentle, sweet spirit and an innocence that made her so easy to love. At the same time, she had a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room. She found joy in the little things—she loved anime, Pokémon, and anything inspired by Asian culture. She also loved reading and spending time watching YouTube, always finding comfort in the things that made her happy.
Her favorite color was aquamarine, and she especially loved Eevee and all of its evolutions—a reflection of her own unique and ever-growing spirit.
Challis passed away on April 3 2026, at just 27 years old. She is survived by her loving mother, Margaret Bevis; her grandmother Joan Bevis; her sister Sarah, brother Hermes and many aunts and uncles who cared deeply for her.
She was a kind-hearted young woman who faced serious medical challenges with quiet strength. In the weeks leading up to her passing, her health declined rapidly as she battled Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, sepsis, colitis, and a blockage.
During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for support to help cover the costs of her cremation and to hold a small gathering to celebrate her life. Our goal is $5,000, especially as her mother took time away from work to be by her side in her final weeks, along with the added medical and end-of-life expenses.
Any support, prayers, or shares mean more than words can express. Thank you for helping us honor Challis life and the love she brought into this world.
