Chad Nelson has been my friend for nearly 20 years, and anyone who knows him can tell you what a caring and supportive person he is. Chad is lucky to have a large group of lifelong friends here in Florida who care deeply about him and want to see him get back on his feet. Recently, Chad has faced a series of serious health challenges that have kept him in and out of the hospital. He’s been battling pneumonia, congestive heart failure, and diverticulitis, which has taken a toll on his health and his ability to work.

Because of these ongoing medical issues, Chad hasn’t been able to work as much as he needs to. The bills are piling up, and he’s struggling to keep up with rent and mounting doctor bills. It’s a stressful and uncertain time, but I know that with the support of friends, family, and our community, we can help Chad get through this difficult period.
