Our family is facing a difficult journey as our son prepares for his second brain surgery. After his first surgery, we learned that two cancerous tumors have regrown because the surgeon was unable to remove the entire tumor the first time. This news has been incredibly hard for us, but we are determined to give our son all the support he needs as he faces this riskier procedure and a longer recovery in the hospital.

We are doing everything we can to be by his side. I am using all my PTO and vacation days to make sure he has the support he needs at home during recovery. The funds raised will help us cover the cost of food while we are in the hospital, hotel stays during his week-long recovery, gas for traveling across the state for his surgery, and lost income while I am away from work. Even though I still have my job, it will take time to build up a paycheck again since I am paid biweekly.

As scared as we are for this, Chaddy shows us his strength and by return gives us strength! When it rains it pours but there's always light after the storm followed by a rainbow.
