Carrie is starting this fundraiser for her dear friend and coworker Cezar, his wife Yvonne, and their newborn daughter, Mia. What should have been a joyful time has become an incredibly difficult and uncertain journey for their family. During and after birth, Mia experienced serious health challenges and will remain at Loma Linda Children's Hospital for the foreseeable future. As Cezar and Yvonne stay close to Mia and focus on each day in front of them, they are also facing the emotional and financial strain that comes with being away from home and navigating so many unknowns.

This fundraiser is meant to help ease some of that burden. Donations will go toward medical bills, travel, and other day-to-day expenses as Cezar, Yvonne, and Mia navigate next steps and spend this critical time together.
