It is with deep sadness that we share the devastating loss of Cephas Nnamdi, who suddenly passed on Thursday, July 2nd.
He leaves behind his mother, Bridget Nnamdi, and his father, Anthony Nnamdi, as well as his brother, Collins, and sisters, Catherine and Davina Nnamdi. The family resides in Bethesda, MD.
Cephas was a 16-year-old honors student at Winston Churchill High School, having just completed his junior year. An all-around athlete, he played football, rugby, and ran track, and was deeply loved by his community. Hard-working and ambitious, Cephas planned to spend his summer working at the local ice rink while pursuing his own entrepreneurial projects. He balanced his drive with a deep love for his friends and was eagerly preparing for his final year of high school. His sudden passing is an immense loss felt by everyone who knew him.
We are coming together to raise funds for the Nnamdi family as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Our goal is to help cover the sudden expenses that come with losing a loved one, giving them the space and peace of mind to focus on healing and grieving together as a family.
The donations will cover the funeral and memorial expenses, the Namdi’s major life changes ahead, and provide immediate financial support for the grieving family during this difficult time.
Please consider donating to help reach the goal of $25,000. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a real difference. And if you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and network.
Thank you for honoring Cephas’ life and standing by his family during this incredibly difficult time. May he rest in eternal peace.
