Support for Ceda's Final Expenses
Donation protected
On 12/13/2024, after a long, strenuous battle with Alzheimer’s/dementia, my stepmother passed away. Our hearts are heavy with the sadness of physical loss, but we know dementia could never steal Ceda’s identity in Christ. We are certain that she is whole again now, with Jesus.
Unfortunately, the task of handling final arrangements and expenses isn’t one that will wait patiently for us to “be ready.”
Ceda has had extensive medical care over the last few years, and long-term care is quite expensive, especially on a fixed income. This means there was no opportunity to set aside funds for the inevitable without compromising the integrity of her care while Ceda was still here.
Now that the inevitable has happened, we ask that those who are willing and able, come alongside us as we attempt to help my Dad handle these expenses. It is our hope that he may not be burdened with unnecessary financial stress as he begins to navigate life without his wife. Even after 27 years together, “Til Death Do Us Part” came too soon.
Thank you for your prayers and support. We love you all.
