Help support CD and Jordan McWaine as they prepare to lay their sweet baby boy peacefully to rest.
Hello, this is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. My name is LaTasha McWaine. I am the grandmother of our now Angel Baby Amir. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my Son (CD) and Daughter in law ( Jordan).
Amir blessed our family with his presence on 11/3/2025, born strong and healthy and looked just like his Mommy and Daddy. Amir always laughed, smiled, sucked on his fingers, and brought joy into our lives every single day. He was exactly what our family needed!!!
Tragically, just 8 days shy of turning 2 months old, Amir transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Our hearts are completely shattered. This is something that CD, Jordan, and our family never imagined having to go through.
I am reaching out with a humble heart, asking for help to give CD and Jordan the support they need to give Baby Amir the beautiful farewell he deserves. Every dollar will go toward covering his funeral, burial, and a headstone fit for the little prince he was. If there is anything left, it will help CD and Jordan with other expenses they may have as they begin to grieve and heal.
Any amount, no matter how big or small, means the world to us. Even if you’re not in a place to donate, please keep us in your prayers.
We thank you all for your thoughts and your prayers and for supporting CD and Jordan during this difficult time. Thank you in advance for helping them honor their little Prince Amir.
With extreme gratitude and love,
The McWaine Family
In Loving Memory of Amir Brooks McWaine
It’s sometimes hard to know why,
some things happen as they do,
for so much joy and happiness,
was centered around you.
It’s hard to comprehend,
that you’re no longer here,
words can’t explain,
the pain that we feel.
What we wouldn’t give to see you,
and hold you in our arms,
all the precious memories we've made,
will always remain in our hearts.
You’re one of Heaven’s angels now,
a perfect little star,
when you shine the world can see,
how beautiful you are.
Though our hearts are broken,
your life was far too short,
we thank you, sweetest angel,
for all the happiness you brought.
We love you, Baby Amir! You will always be in our hearts.
AMIR - means 'PRINCE' or 'RULER'.
It was used as a title for a commander before it was used as a name.
It also means ‘POWERFUL’.
