Assist in getting a Hospital us Hospital Bed

I was a massage therapist for 25 years and I loved it. Then one random day My legs went numb from knees to toes. Then my hands went numb. I went to ER 3 times and another 3 times I was admitted. Over 4 months of trying g to figure out what is happening we landed on CIDP. It's a kissing cousin to MS and ALS.

It started off with manageable pain from hip to knee then suddenly I am number from knees to toes- in 1 day! It took 4-5months to get a diagnosis and by then it had affected my hands, now its starting in my face ( a line of singing from bre to lip on right side) . It's scary. Not knowing what to do to stop it or atleast slow it down. Going from cane, to walker to wheelchair. Hoping there is a treatment that an help.

Not able to work since Feb 2025. But can't get disability for 12-16 months from diagnosis. No health insurance after not being able to afford it.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Wanting to get a wheelchair so I can prep my own meals again. Standing for too long puts too much pressure on feet and Nerve pain is worse.

As I experience my 7th Hospital visit I realize how much easier life is with an adjustable Hospital bed with railings to help pull myself up and to elevate upper and/or lower body! So I know this would be the best use of the funds raised. Secondhand Hospital beds are even outof my price range let alone a new one which could serve me we for a very long time.
