On October 29, I was given the worst news a sister can receive---my older sister had been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. Cathy is a single mom, with a 11 year old daughter at home. This unexpected news is devastating to our family, and anticipating the cost of her treatments is a huge financial burden and stress on her. Cathy is a healthy and strong woman, who loves her children, her siblings,  and parents loyally. We want her to have access to the best care possible, and are asking for our friends and family to contribute something and help support this goal.
