On January 11, 2021, Cathy Watson tragically, and very unexpectedly, lost her husband of 37 years, Tony. Tony is survived by Cathy, and their two strong and ambitious daughters, Christine and Michelle. In the wake of this unforeseen loss, Cathy has not only been left to grieve Tony's sudden death, but has startlingly discovered she has been left with numerous financial burdens that she was unaware of prior to her loss. She has hardly had a moment to sit quietly and grieve as she has had a full schedule of consulting with estate lawyers and debt collectors, forcing her to make difficult financial decisions during these already challenging pandemic times.

During her forty year career as an OB nurse, Cathy touched countless lives, served as a shining light for others, and has been an inspiration to many. Recently, Cathy has discovered a passion for volunteering as a Crime Victims’ Advocate, and working as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. She has continually been a rock for others in their time of need without any expectations for receiving any thanks in return. Please consider donating to Cathy in her greatest time of need.
At this time, Cathy's main request is assistance with purchasing a reliable winter-capable, used vehicle that she can safely get to and from the hospitals where she works. With this car, she can continue to care for victims of crime and abuse. In addition, there are numerous financial burdens that Cathy was previously unaware of, and has been left to face. She would greatly benefit from any assistance to help address these debts that have become her sole responsibility.
