Hello everyone, My name is Chelsea, writing on behalf of Catherine Greene. Catherine and I met during our junior year of high school, and she has been one of my closest friends ever since. She is one of those rare people who radiate kindness, love, and positivity, and she shows up for others without hesitation and encourages everyone around her simply by being herself.
In 2018, she introduced me to a new guy she was dating, whose name was Bishop. I still remember the way she spoke about him…she spoke with such joy and certainty, telling me again and again how unbelievable it felt that God had sent her a man so perfectly meant for her. Bishop loved Catherine deeply and wholeheartedly. She was his world, and he was hers. Their bond was beautiful—full of faith and love. In April of this year, I had the privilege of attending their wedding. It was an honor to witness their passion and commitment to one another.
I never imagined I would have to write something like this, and I hate that Catherine is living through this unimaginable loss. Bishop’s passing was sudden and devastating. Everyone who loves Catherine is heartbroken watching her endure this pain, and we all wish more than anything that we could bring Bishop back to her. While we can’t change what has happened, we can help support her in the ways that are possible right now.
Alongside her grief, Catherine is facing overwhelming funeral and medical expenses. She has always been the one to offer comfort, strength, and compassion to others, but now it’s our turn to surround her with that same love and support.
The funds raised here will go directly toward covering immediate funeral costs and medical bills, helping ease the financial burden so Catherine can focus on grieving, healing, and taking care of herself during this incredibly difficult time.
