On Dec 17, 2019, Catherine Belanger-Gagnon received the news that she has a daunting battle ahead of her with Cancer. Catherine has fought this battle before and undoubtedly will take it on again with the same determination and positive outlook that we’ve all come to know and love from her.
Many of you in the Visual Effects and production community in Vancouver will know Catherine from when she worked at Digital Domain, and on the shows Zoo, Lemony Snicket, Salvation, Siren, Descendants 3, and most recently as VFX Producer on Season 2 of Charmed.
Before she can start the fight, though, Catherine needs to make some changes to her life. Her entire family is in Montreal and Catherine has decided to move back there where she can get the support she’ll need from those that love her most.
We’re hoping to raise funds to help with the expenses to move her, and her dog Ghost, back to Montreal and to give her some funds that will help support her during her treatments.

Go Fund Me has asked that I update the story to give some information on me and how the funds will be used. I'm Terry Hutcheson, from Vancouver, and I've been working with Catherine for about 5 years now. 100% of the funds raised in this campaign will go directly to Catherine to use as she sees fit in her move back to Montreal and throughout her treatments.
