Three days ago, my dear friend Cass's mother, Darcy, was involved in a multi-vehicle accident in Commerce City, Colorado. The crash was so severe that Darcy is now in the ICU on life support, undergoing multiple surgeries. Cass immediately flew to Colorado to be by her side. Because Cass is away from home and unable to work, she is facing unexpected expenses for travel, housing, daily needs, and unforeseen costs as next of kin. The uncertainty of how long she will need to stay in Colorado is an added weight but our priority is making sure she can be there to support her mom without worrying about finances.
