On Saturday, August 22nd our father, Cary Tricarico, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. At that time, he was given a few weeks as a prognosis. The next day, he was transferred to inpatient hospice care in Elkhart to be with his family. Tuesday, August 25th at 11:28 PM our dad said his last goodbye.

To say we were unprepared for this is a vast understatement. Unfortunately, dad had no plans or policies in place for the end of his life and expenses associated have fallen on his daughters.

Any support to help ease this burden as we are still reeling from the trauma of the past week would be a huge weight off of our shoulders. It’s hard for either of us to ask for help, but many of you have asked what you can do.

We are only asking for enough to cover his final expenses including a small celebration of life so we can gather and talk about memories with dad and how loved he was. We thank you for anything you can contribute.
