Once again, I must call upon friends to help me take care of expenses. At this point, I do not have the funds to pay for Cary‘s cremation on Tuesday. Or even pay the phone bill on the 26th. Let alone all the other expenses that come with processing the end of life. And the beginning of a new life as a single individual. I am safe and warm, renting a room in Yonkers. But the expenses for our storage units that hold all our worldly possessions are coming due. I do have plans to considerably downsize. But I would not want Cary‘s precious art collection to be auctioned off, if I can’t pay the storage fees.

I’m setting a goal for $15,000 so I can cover the costs and have a bit of a foothold to start my new path.

I want to add that I am so incredibly grateful for the generosity and kindness that has already been shared with us this last year. I wish my life situation were different. But this is where I find myself and I must reach out.
