My name is Daniel Broussard.

I'm writing this on behalf of Kandise Courtney and Ryan Bourque.

As many people know, they have suffered an agonizing loss. Their son, Carter suffered a brain aneurism and was put on life support on January 6, 2026. Carter was an organ donor and is being kept on life support until his send off from the hospital. This was sudden and unexpected. I'm here to humbly ask for donations to give him a proper burial.

Carter was very athletic and loved playing football. He was full of energy, joy, and dreams. He had a big heart and a big appetite! Subway was his favorite. He loved his video games. He had a soft heart and was definitely a mama's boy. Above all, he was a baptized believer of Jesus Christ. He was loved beyond measure. He touched many lives in his short time on Earth. The hurt this family is feeling is uncomprehensible.

This sudden loss has left his family facing not only overwhelming grief, but also the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. We are asking for support to help lay him to rest with the dignity, love, and honor he deserves.
