Every parent’s worst nightmare. While going through your day to day routines, you feel something that seems abnormal on your child. Not wanting to be the overparanoid or “crazy” parent, you try to tell yourself that it’s probably ok. But you decide you must have it checked out anyways. That’s what Becca and Tim were experiencing earlier this month. A few days and one pediatric appointment later, life suddenly changed. Carter was found to have a large abdominal tumor, and all the tests began.  Consults have been done, surgery is being scheduled, and though the most likely diagnosis seems to be hepatoblastoma, even that can’t be confirmed until the tumor is finally removed.
