It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Michael Barreno—a devoted father, loving son, cherished brother, and loyal friend to so many.

If you knew Michael, you knew his absolute greatest joy in life was his family, especially his two precious daughters, Carrera and Gabby. They were his entire world. As a single father, he poured every ounce of his heart into raising them, cheering them on in everything they did, and making sure they always felt deeply loved and supported.

Michael was a pillar of strength, warmth, and laughter for everyone around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his daughters, Carrera and Gabby; his loving parents, Albert and Evelyn; and his sister, Marie. His bright personality, signature pink and green beard during volleyball tournaments, and contagious smile made him impossible to forget and impossible not to love. He was the kind of person who was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a word of encouragement, or simply brighten someone’s day.

His passing has left an unimaginable void, especially for Carrera and Gabby, who now face life without the person who loved them most.

We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden on his family during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, as well as providing immediate care and essential support for Carrera and Gabby as they navigate the days ahead.
