On Memorial Day, our beloved friend Gregory Kautz was tragically killed in a horrific crash. He just 47 years old, leaving behind his shattered wife Caroline Kautz, who witnessed everything and watched her whole world taken from her in an instant . The incident happened at the intersection of Route 35 and Belmar Boulevard at approximately 5:50 p.m.
Gregg was the kind of person who made life brighter simply by being in. Anyone who knew Gregg knew his loyalty, his humor, and his ability to make people feel loved. His loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved him most, especially Caroline, who is now facing not only profound grief, but the overwhelming financial burdens that come with such an unexpected tragedy. We are asking for support to help Caroline during this heartbreaking time. Donations will help ease funeral expenses and provide stability as she navigates life without her husband and best friend. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Caroline and the Kautz family in your thoughts and prayers. and thank you to everyone who has already donated.
Also if anyone was a witness, has video footage or has any information regarding the incident please contact MCPO Detective Aaron Lay or Wall Township Patrolman Trent Powers .
Thank you for helping us honor Gregg’s life, memory, and the love he gave so freely.
