Support for Carol Holton

Some of you know Carol as a sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and cousin. Others may know her as a teacher, administrator or coworker.  Others like myself know Carol from Shepherd church, Passion Play and as a prayer warrior.  Carol also in her earlier years was a professional dancer and performer.  However you knew her, I can pretty much guarantee she made a huge impact on your life,  supported you in many ways and was there to love and help you.  Now it is our time to give back to her. 
Many of you know that Carol was diagnosed was Multiple Myeloma back in April 2021. Since then she has had chemotherapy and radiation which has made it very difficult for her to work. Carol has now qualified for a stem cell transplant at City of Hope. This is a very amazing but costly procedure.  Though she has insurance, there is a extensive amount of out of pocket expenses that are extremely difficult for her to cover. Carol will be staying in a hotel near City of Hope during the collection and transplant of her cells. She will be there approximately 20-25 days if there are no complications. The funds will be used for her  out of pocket co pays for medication, tests, office visits and procedures. During this time she will also need funds for transportation,  medical supplies, lodging and healthy and nutritional food.  During and after the transplant she will need  24/7 caregiving.
