It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carlos E. Ramirez Jr., a beloved member of the Advanced Fire & Rescue Team. Carlos passed away during the line of duty on Feb. 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and a heartbroken family, including his father Carlos Sr., his mother Ojany & sister Emily.

Known for his sense of duty, love for family, faith in Christ, his infectious smile, selfless service and eagerness to help, Carlos was only just starting his career with only 2 years of service to his community. Whether responding to accidents, fires & EMS calls, he always put others first.

As they mourn this devastating loss, we are reaching out to the community to help the Ramirez family navigate this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will directly support funeral expenses, immediate financial needs and to support the Ramirez family.
