My name is Evelynne Billings, and I am sharing with a heavy heart on behalf of my family, the Moncada Family.

We are mourning the loss of our oldest sibling, Carlos Moncada, who touched so many lives.

Carlos’s health journey became a difficult climb in October 2024, after his last (5th) heart stent placement. On January 13, 2025, Carlos collapsed at home and was rushed to the ER after suffering a cardiac arrest followed by three strokes impacting his speech and coordination. While the medical outlook was grave, our Lord Jesus performed a miracle, blessing us with 51 precious extra days to be by his side.

In the early hours of March 6, 2025, Carlos endured three cardiac arrests within 90 minutes. At 11:13 am, surrounded by his family, our Lord decided it was time to call him home. He took his last breath peacefully as we stood beside him. Carlos is survived by his parents, seven siblings, three children, and his grandchildren.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support we have already received. As we navigate this profound loss, we are faced with the reality of mounting medical expenses and the cost of funeral arrangements.

We have created this page to ask for your assistance in giving Carlos the farewell he deserves and easing the financial burden on our family. Any contribution, no matter the size, is a blessing to us.
