Carlos Turner is a devoted husband, father, and Air Force veteran who has always been there for his family and community. Over the weekend of April 18th, while traveling from Arizona to California for a family event, Carlos’s wife Kandi suffered a significant stroke. She is currently hospitalized, paralyzed on her left side, and while her condition is stable, she is not yet able to be transferred back to Arizona. The family is working closely with doctors to manage her symptoms and searching for a healthcare facility in Arizona that will accept her as a patient. This medical emergency has brought a wave of unexpected challenges and expenses. The cost of Kandi’s eventual medical transport back to Arizona will be a significant out-of-pocket expense, and the family is also facing daily unplanned costs that insurance will not cover. To make matters even more difficult, just before Kandi’s stroke, Carlos and his family were involved in a car accident, adding further financial and emotional stress to an already overwhelming situation. Funds raised will go directly to the Turner family to help cover medical transport, ongoing care, daily living expenses, and other specific needs that are not covered by insurance, as well as unplanned deductible costs. Please consider supporting Carlos, Kandi, and their family during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and help ease the burden they are facing.
