In September 2025, our lives changed forever when my husband Carlos was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had already spread to his liver. Since that day, he has fought with incredible strength, courage, and dignity. Now, as his illness has progressed, he is receiving hospice care. This has been one of the most heartbreaking journeys our family has ever faced. Our focus right now is making sure he is surrounded by love, comfort, and peace during this time.

My husband is an amazing man — a loving partner, a devoted husband, and a friend to so many. Anyone who knows him knows his kindness, his hard work, and the love he has always shown to those around him. During these past months, the emotional and financial weight has been overwhelming.
