My name is Stanley, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother-in-law, my niece, and myself as we navigate life after the heartbreaking loss of Carla—our beloved wife, mother, and sister. Carla suffered a stroke that led to further health complications, including speech difficulties, high blood pressure, and issues with her heart and kidneys. Throughout her illness, our family did everything we could to care for her, but the mounting medical bills, travel for appointments, and daily living expenses quickly depleted our limited resources.
Now, as we try to move forward, we’re facing urgent needs that we simply can’t meet on our own. Our home has a leaky roof that desperately needs repair, and our only vehicle is unreliable and in constant need of fixing. We’ve been working to remodel and upgrade our home to make it safer and more efficient, but ongoing medical costs and a fixed income have made it impossible to keep up. The financial strain has left us with debts, bills, and no savings to fall back on, all while we grieve the loss of someone who meant everything to us.
Carla was the heart of our family and a light in our community. She was always the first to help others—offering food, shelter, or a kind word to anyone in need, even when she had little herself. Carla did all she could to make this a home for us, and we ask that the help be extended to us so we can make this home a bit more as she wished it could be, in memory of her. We want to honor her legacy by staying together and supporting each other, but we can’t do it alone. If you’re able to help, your support would mean the world to us as we rebuild and heal. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping our family in your thoughts.
