Captain Andy Green was diagnosed with Merkle Cell Cancer in 2015. After numerous lengthy treatments Andy beat the odds and beat the cancer. Several months ago Andy was feeling ill again and was taken to the hospital where they found that the cancer had returned and with a vengeance; The doctors found several masses on his liver.




After a couple months of treatment Andy was told that there was no other course of treatment by his current doctors. This was obviously not acceptable for Andy and he is currently at the Chicago Cancer Treatment Center where he is getting a second opinion and better treatment.

Captain Greene is a husband & father of three; two boys and one beautiful little girl. Andy is a caring and loving father and his kids mean the world to him just as much as he does to them. The same is true at the Fire Department; He's the type of guy that will literally give you the shirt off of his back, hes a bit of a practical joker, and is always up for a good time with friends and family.




We're doing this Booster campaign for Andy to help alleviate some of the stress of bills that are pilling up while he fights to kick Cancers butt. All Proceeds that are collected by the Fire Department through this Booster Campaign and all other fundraising activities will go directly to Andy.
