Hi, I am Monica Sturgeon, the mother of a tiny fighter, Canton! He is in the NICU and has been since birth 143 days ago! He has had it all going on, being intubated and on the ventilator for longer than normal with chronic lung disease. He was born at 26 weeks at 1 pound 7 ounces!

He is 70 miles one way from our home, and I had to slow way down on working due to him being there and my children at home.

With going down to one income, our bills have started piling up and there’s no catching back up at this point. I am starting back to work this week to help take some of the load off of my husband/his dad.

We are hopeful that Canton can come home either the end of January or sometime in February!
