Hi, my name is Candice. I'm a single mom and I’m raising funds to support my son during these difficult times.

My son has been hospitalized for over three weeks after his appendix ruptured, causing a serious infection that spread through his abdomen. He now has a partial bowel blockage and a large abscess that doctors are draining through a tube. While we are grateful for the medical care he’s receiving, he is still not out of danger, and his recovery has been long, painful, and uncertain.

During this time, I’ve had to miss work to stay by his side, advocate for his care, and make sure he isn’t facing this alone. As a result, I’m falling behind on bills, household expenses, and basic necessities. Between medical costs, travel, time away from work, and ongoing care, the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.

I never imagined asking for help like this, but right now my priority is my son’s health, healing, and safety. Any donation — no matter how small — will help relieve some of the financial burden so I can continue focusing on his recovery instead of worrying about losing stability at home.
